Shutters have in recent years become the most desired window dressing. They are highly versatile as well as functional with a unique contemporary style. As well as being practical, they offer incredible durability and easy maintenance. Our plantation shutters have adjustable louvers offering so much more in terms of privacy with light control, whilst our solid shutters offer near total blackout.
OUR SERVICE
As one of the UK’s leading shutter companies, it means that you can be confident that our team of experienced surveyors have been fully trained to give you the best advice when choosing your shutters.
Appointments can be arranged at your convenience. Our surveyor will show you samples of all the ranges and finishes which are available. Your windows will be accurately measured and you will be provided with a ‘no obligation quote’. Your shutters will be installed by our fully trained professional carpenters.
We offer a three year manufacturer guarantee on all parts and labour.
THE SHUTTERS
All our shutters have been beautifully crafted and are custom made to order which will give a perfect fit for any type of window. We have four great ranges for you to choose from which are available in a variety of colours and styles.
THE HEMINGWAY
Our finest range made from western red cedar wood, considered to be one of the best timbers available for shutters. We offer this range in a natural oiled or lacquered finish and also in a paint finish.
THE DUVAL
Made from yellow poplar wood, this is a high quality hardwood range with an engineered core to prevent any possibility of warping. We offer this range in a variety of stained and painted finishes.
THE FLEMING
One of our most popular ranges is the LDF range (light density fibre). Although this is a much heavier material, it is incredibly durable and maintenance free. This range is available in three shades of white.
THE TRUMAN
This quality hardwood range is made from parasol wood which is proven to be very light in weight and is best suited to wider areas. We offer this range in a variety of stained and painted finishes.
THE SOLID SHUTTERS
Our solid style shutters are popular in both modern and traditional style homes. Designed with a near total blackout, they can also create a much more secure look giving you a better sense of security in your home.
SOLID BASE/LOUVRE TOP
As solid raised, but with top louvres, very suitable for sliding partitions and French Windows with solid bases.
SOLID RAISED
Solid raised panels with a raised inset moulding.
SOLID SHAKER
Solid centre panel without inset moulding.
THE STYLES
Our shutters are designed to offer you a stylish alternative to other window dressings. We do have various options available of full height, tier-on-tier or café style and for those much wider areas, a tracking system is available.
CAFÉ STYLE
This style of shutter will add that continental feeling to any home. It fits at the bottom half of a window, allowing the light to flow through the top half of the window.
TIER-ON-TIER
Using a two part style shutter with a break in the middle, one at the bottom half and the other at the top half, allows total flexibility over light and privacy.
FULL HEIGHT
For a simple effect but yet beautiful, you may wish to opt for a full height style shutter which will cover the whole area of your window.
TRACKING OPTION
Our tracking systems have been designed especially for those areas which are greater than 220cm wide. They are also a great option for a room divide.
THE SHAPES
We appreciate that there are windows in various shapes and sizes. We therefore offer you our custom made option for all those unique shapes, allowing you to appreciate the full beauty of your window.
Our special shapes are only available in our wood ranges.

It is important to select the correct colour when choosing your style shutter. We offer an extensive range of colours to suit your needs.
As part of our custom colour service we can offer you a choice of popular brand paint manufacturers.
Custom colour is only available in our wood ranges.
THE CONSERVATORY
Apart from offering you a great look in your conservatory, there is also a degree of flexibility that is just not possible with most other shading options.
REMOTE CONTROL
We are delighted to introduce a new remote controlled shutter which has been designed for those hard to reach openings, such as conservatory roofs.
The infra red remote control offers you a choice of eight tilt positions. It also has three beam widths, to control panel operation. The louvres can be operated manually when not using the remote control.
This option is only available in our wood ranges.
